Over the past 14 years, the initiative Les Anges financiers has gained credibility and built a solid reputation among the financial and business communities. A year’s hiatus has allowed the organization to take the pulse of the business and investing communities, and focus the initiative on the needs of its stakeholders. Consequently, the initiative returns this year with a renewed form.

Rather than being a competition focused on awarding prizes, the new format now places emphasis on networking between entrepreneurs and investors. The initiative goes further in its approach by providing the selected candidates with support given by volunteer professionals who will prepare them to obtain financing. The candidates will receive training and coaching in order to distinguish themselves in front of potential investors. Thus, the initiative differentiates itself from other competitions by offering entrepreneurs tangible and long-term benefits through an improvement process.

This initiative will conclude at an event where the finalists will have the chance to present their project and meet investors. Candidates selected for the quality of their business project will be invited to present their project to angel investors, private investors and venture capital professionals during a private event. These candidates will have participated in a series of trainings on financing and presentation skills.
