The Angel Investors Challenge

Quebec’s leading networking initiative for early stage entrepreneurs and investors, the Challenge offers entrepreneurs professional coaching as well as a strategic venue to expand their activities.

This initiative will conclude with a private event where the finalists will have the opportunity to present their project and meet investors.

The Challenge’s 5 phases

Phase 1 : Submission

(August 1st to October 25th, 2011): The Challenge will receive applications from entrepreneurs. Candidates must submit their registration form and their business plan by October 25th, 2011. Entrepreneurs wishing to submit an application should review the general rules. Read more

Phase 2 : Selection

(October 26th to November 10th, 2011): The second phase consists in the selection of the best business plans. A selection committee will review all of the business plans received and select the top twelve to fifteen. Read more

Phase 3 : Coaching

(November 11th to November 23nd, 2011): The selected candidates will take part in training sessions, business plan clinics and will receive mentorship to help them be better prepared for their final pitch to investors. Read more

Phase 4 : Angel Investors Challenge Event

(December 1st, 2011): Cocktail event during which the finalists of the 2011 Angel Investors Challenge will be announced, along with the advisory committees that will mentor them until the Anges Québec event. The most innovative companies will also be recognized. The event is a large gathering of entrepreneurs, investors and other professionals. Phase 5 : Coaching Anges Québec

(2012): After a coaching period, finalists chosen by Anges Québec will be reassessed after six months to determine whether they will present their project at a monthly meeting of Anges Quebec or they may be allowed to enter to the Anges Québec Ready program. Read more
