A word from the Organizing Committee
Launching a business is an adventure filled with challenges, especially when the time comes to securing the necessary capital. Once family and friends have lent a hand, financial resources don’t come out of the blue...
Concerned with this reality, the Fondation du maire de Montréal pour la jeunesse (fmmj) has adopted the mission to help young Montrealers start up their business by providing them with grants as well as services.
In 1996, to further facilitate the accessibility to financing by the young entrepreneurs it supports, the fmmj joined forces with the Jeune Chambre de commerce de Montréal to launch the Anges financiers Contest.
Over the years, the Anges financiers Contest has become a key opportunity for investors to discover high quality enterprises managed by the cream of the new generation of Québec entrepreneurs. A unique annual event that should not be missed.
Liette Lamonde
Executive Director
Fondation du maire de Montréal pour la jeunesse
It is with great pride that the "Jeune Chambre de commerce de Montréal" joins forces once again with the "Fondation du maire de Montréal pour la jeunesse" to organize and present the 31st edition of the "Anges Financiers" Contest.
The "Anges Financiers" Contest represents much more than five grants presented to passionate entrepreneurs. It is an advantageous occasion for exchange between young entrepreneurs and the leaders of the business community. This far-reaching event offers young business people the opportunity to demonstrate their talent, their creativity and their sense of entrepreneurship to experienced investors.
If young, dynamic entrepreneurs represent the innovative Quebec of tomorrow, it goes without saying that the investors who support them have a fundamental role in the development of this future.
I wish to invite all young entrepreneurs of Quebec as well as the "Anges Financiers" to participate in the "Anges Financiers" Contest. A lively evening where the theme is Invest, Initiate, Innovate.
